I lecture and consult within the Biotechnology and Life Science area. This includes arranging courses within and outside academia, popular science talks and coming up with new ideas.
For example, I have recently given popular science talks for Gentekniknämnden (Systems Biology, October, 2006) and the Annual Meeting for Neuropsychology (Computational Modeling, November, 2006). To stimulate high school teachers, forming the future generation, I have lectured (2002-2005) on recent developments in Computational LIfe Sciences.
For a popular science description of systems biology and our work you may consult a recent article (in swedish) in Naturvetaren 2006.
Network structures and the associated dynamics come into play in several areas and insights obtained from one area may transfer into other application domains. The relevant mathematical structures usually have a wide range of applications.
